Originally from South Africa, where he grew up in a family that nurtured his love for the arts, music, and sports, Chris Brink decided to go to medical school so he could help give back to society. Graduating from the University of Pretoria in 1995 as a General Practitioner, Dr. Brink started his medical career in South Africa as a General Surgeon working in hospital emergency rooms. In 1997, Dr. Brink immigrated to Canada and started working in maternity care where he had the pleasure of bringing new babies into the world. Both areas of medicine gave great joy and personal fulfillment to Dr. Brink as he could provide a visible outcome to his patients, and make a positive impact on their lives.
With a passion and talent for aesthetics, in 2005, Dr. Brink opened the first comprehensive cosmetic medical clinic in Kamloops, BC, and currently splits his time between SKIN Kamloops and his general practitioner medical clinic.
